Office Program Coordinator for Senior Life Solutions (Full-Time 30 hrs/wk)
Position: Office Program Coordinator (30 hrs/wk)
Reports to: Program Director

St. Luke's Hospital Criteria Based Performance Standards, Hospital Policies, TJC Regulations and various other laws/regulations require that we assess the ongoing competency of our staff to assure that the staff maintains competency to perform their duties proficiently. Competency evaluation may include tests for knowledge, demonstration of skills and direct observation of performance.

St. Luke's Hospital performance standards are based on performance standards, hospital policies, The Joint Commission Regulations, and various other laws and regulations. The competency of the staff will be evaluated in an ongoing manner for competency and compliance with set standards. Competency evaluations may include tests for knowledge, demonstrations of skills and direct observation of performance.


The employee provides quality secretarial and clerical services for program staff and PMC clients. Drives vehicles to and from assigned destinations to pick up and deliver patients and/or supplies. May be required to assist patients into and out of vehicles and within the clinic setting.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, required.
2. High school graduate or GED.
3. Knowledge of performing various secretarial and clerical tasks.
4. Computer use and efficiency, including familiarity with Word and Excel.
5. Device use and efficiency, including copier, fax and telephone.
6. Past experience in working with older persons.
7. Past experience performing secretarial and clerical duties, preferred.
8. Unblemished valid driver's license as required by North Carolina State law without any DMV violations.
9. Knowledge of safe operations of vehicle and determined best route for picking up / delivering patients efficient and safety. Knowledge of how to physically assist all passengers on and off the vehicle.

Essential Functions include but not limited to:
Facilitates completion of general secretarial duties in ways that enhance the environment of care. Understands patient rights, confidentiality and organization ethic and adheres to these standards at all times.
Facilitates safe transportation of clients to and from the Outpatient program
Facilitates completion of operational tasks in ways that enhance the environment of care and maintains the vehicle.
Demonstrates professional behavior and supports the philosophy of St. Luke's Hospital and will participate in continuing education.
